COEXISTENCE
Material research: alluminium casting on stone

alluminium casted vase mixed with sea stone

Experimental research on the coexistence of materials. Inspired by the sea coast, flora, and fauna, the casted aluminum is melting into the stone creating organic results due to the high temperature and the stone reacting to it. The reaction of the melted aluminum and the stone seems to be a metaphor for the coexistence of mankind and the planet. No matter the shape or the temperature, every drop of melted aluminum will create an effect that will be consequential. At the first touch of melted aluminum, the stone, that is previously gone in the mold, its term shock creating a reaction that will influence unexpectedly the final shape.
